Need some advice about Mom

My mom is in a nursing home, she knows who she is , who I am , but she doesn’t seem like she knows what is going on. She uses the wrong words in sentences. She thinks she is doing things she is not doing. Like going food shopping.. she is in a wheel chair at the home all day..I just watched a video of her at her 80th birthday and her mind was clear.  She is on buproppion, levothyroxin, donepezil, hydroxychlor, metoprol, and carb/levo  .. Last Feb she went to the hospital, and they did do a MRI and cat scan of her brain, and found nothing out. She does know when she needs to use the bathroom but can not get out of the chair.  She was on Methotracate  for lupus, and prednisone for her arthritis last winter..It seems to me that dementia takes longer.. Not a few months. can you offer me any guidance. Thank you!

You are facing a big challenge in your life in finding help for your mother who is suffering from Alzheimer’s. I was also in such a stage two year back. The situation is far better now. I searched for such a place that not only offers quality care, but someone who can truly help my Dad to show him a productive and active life. At last I succeeded in my search; it was Prestige Care we opted for. He is receiving a special program termed as “Expressions”.  It makes use of latest techniques and approaches to turn daily activities into memorable and meaningful events. I am so glad that I found the best option for my Dad.  check this link for more details.
