Reluctant Traveller down the Dementia Highway

I am a divorced single mother of four children. My oldest child has multiple special needs and health care needs. My widowed mother suffered a leg clot/aneurysm in June of 2011 and concurrently her dementia symptoms became overnight much worse. The doctors believe she has a combination of Vascular dementia and Alzheimers. She is a lifelong Christian Scientist and has chosen to stop medical care. She is living back in her home now, which is around the corner from me, and she gets caregivers coming into her home daily. I have one sister who lives four hours away by air. So, it has fallen on me to become the central caregiver and coordinator of her care, her finances, and everything. i find it overwhelming at times.
