Watching Momma

Caring for my mother. . . where do I start. I am a 42 year old assistant principal who is caring for an 87 year old mother with dementia. It is becoming a taxing process. Some days we both are crying because she can't tell me what is happening and I am so exhausted that I don't know what esle to do. I call her my baby because that is how she feels. I dress her, fix her hair, and make sure she is cared for. It is also like she is the child and I am the mother.
